There is not a paint code tag like the parts manual says there should be but there is a space called "T.C." on the manufacturers tag on the pilot side door jam. I was
thinking that this could be "trim code" since I have heard that one of the major differences in a 172 and a Skyhawk on the older models was that the Skyhawks came fully painted.
If anyone knows what this "T.C." means, mine references numbers 3A12, I would appreciate hearing from you.

DOES ANYONE KNOW A DUPONT OR PPG OR JET-GLO NUMBER FOR THESE OR SOMTHING I CAN GO BY TO ORDER THESE COLORS?
