seriously need HELP...i need a pressurized plane. I'm so confused.
Hi everyone. this is not a made up forum for the geeky dreamer. I have a very serious question.
I've been wanting to buy a high performance aircraft for over two years. I'm a cash buyer...and yes, to some degree, money is an object. Anyone who says, "if money isn't an object..." is an idiot. I'm a surgeon, who does very well, but I still want the best aircraft I can buy for as little as possible.
My needs include a plane with reasonable range, speed and unfortunately, I need pressurization for my wife, who hates flying high with o2. Pay load isn't as much of an issue, since I usually fly with just myself and her, and my dog. occasionally I do fly with three or 4 passengers, but that is rare (once or twice per year). I am looking at the 340, 414, and p210. I don't want maintainence costs that will kill me, so I'm a bit reluctant to buy a pressurized twin. The up-front costs of a malibu are ridiculous for what you get back in the plane (not interested).
Please, please help me. I'm desperate and I've been looking for too long and I'm getting really frustrated. I'm not that experienced...about 200 multi hours with limited IFR time. That will change with the right plane and updated training I recon.

Lancair 4p would be my choice given your mission. Outstanding performance and single engine costs. It sounds like you are flying for personal reasons, not hire, so the experimental types would be available. Good luck.
