I have a 1998 182S with 500+ hours on the dual vacuum pumps. Annual coming up, is there a rule of thumb as to when to replace the pumps? I fly IFR. Thanks!

you should have recieved a letter from Parker about immediate replacement of your vac pumps are timed out and they are no longer in the business.
1 new tempest pumps + 700.00 each installed
2 re-mfg pumps 300.00 each installed
My 1998 182s is going in next week for new pumps and 500 hr mag check
good luck and get out the checkbook $$$
