You need to set up your user ID before you can view the members only forums. You should be prompted to a screen to do this when you log in.
It should read as follows:
"FORUM LOG-IN ERROR: In order for you to successfully log-on to the forums you must set-up your user id. This can be your real name (with spaces if you choose) or any other appropriate name you would like to be identified by.
Please only use numbers, letters, under-score symbol, or spaces in your user id. All other characters aren't supported."
Once you have done this, you should be able to log into the members section just fine.
