How does this cable disconnect?

I can see that it's a motorola antenna. So what happens when you remove the two screws on the antenna?

It's taking me a while Scott. The aft screw head is stripped. Of course. :(

OK, good luck. Do you have a "stripped screw head removal kit" ? I have one and it works really well on stripped screws. You can get one at a hardware store.

  • Removing the two exterior mounting screws is how the cable disconnect is done.

Drilled off the screw head. Thank goodness the metal was soft.

Exposed two Cable Plug Retainer Screws. No amount of survivable turbulence is gonna shake it loose.

    Thanks for the suggestion Scott!

  • A rubber band and screwdriver is good sometimes to remove a stripped screw head...placing the rubber band into the “head” of the screw. Just my two cents worth..

Thanks Kent. Will give it a shot next time.

You don't want a "next time", lol. I'm glad it was successful. No more ADF!

  • But Scott.

I LOVE ADF. And now it's the ONLY WAY to follow a ballgame.
