Uneven fuel flow question

I know this is a dead horse. I am aware Cessna highwing aircraft are famous for flowing more fuel from one tank than the other. I have read about the position of the vent wing. Before I start experimenting with raising or lowering that vent slightly, can anyone advise if it should go up further into the wing or down and extended slightly in order to reduce the flow from the right tank to balance the flow with the fuel selector in the both position. I have to fly with a fuel selector on the left for one hour and both for one hour and then alternate in order to keep the level in the tanks within a few gallons of each other. If I leave it on both it wants to essentially drains the right tank. I am flying in trim. I’m not hearing pressurization when I open the fuel caps.
