Removal ADF Antenna 1976 C182P

Want to remove the ADF Antenna and plug the holes on my 1976 C182P. I have the original "plastic" headliner with an overhead speaker which I detached to see if I could reach the inside portion of the antenna mount. I can see the mount using a mirror, but don't think I can reach it. Maybe can hook it, but not sure. I may be able to push the mount down from the top and leave it there and cover the hole. This isn't the best solution in that it might rattle inside the headliner and/or cause interference. Any ideas or suggestions for removing this Antenna mount!!!
