210 l landing gear problem
1971. 210 ( L ) Landing GEAR problem.
NEED GOOD LANDING GEAR MECHANIC.
GEAR SWINGS AND OPERATES BOTH DIRECTIONS.
UP LOCKS HAVE BEEN VERIFIED WORKING CORRECTLY.
SOME TIMES PUMP MOTOR STAYS ENGAGED. I FLY WHITH BREAKER PULLED AFTER EACH OPERATION.
OTHER TIMES WHEN OPERATING NORMAL THE PUMP WILL SHUT OFF. PRESSURE WILL BLEED DOWN FROM 1500 psi to 700 psi pump turns on PUMP FOR 1 second then bleeds down to 500 psi turns on again then bleeds down to 300 psi. On again cascades down to 200 psi then 100 psi then pump remains off.
main gear door mod has been done.
nose gear mod (has not) been done.
hand pump actuater has been rebuilt.
nose wheel gear door has been rebuilt.
all up locks have been verified and in working order.
main gear actuators have not been rebuilt.
we pulled gear up pulled main gear out of up locks watches for over 30 minuets gear stayed in same position never bleeding off. Didn’t move.
please help one mechanic had me spend $3,500. on main gear mod thinking that would fix it. (WRONG)
another mechanic worked on it for 3 days charged me $1,300. Rebuilt 2 actuators and checking up locks still gear does not work.
all the air is bleed from the system
filter checked.
this problem started 6 months after purchase and has been going on for over 1 year.
I don’t believe totally rebuilding the power pack is the answer.
