CSP governors

Never had any trouble. I flew the plane last, a week later I go out for a beautiful VMC day flight - at the run up pad, during the prop ck - No RPM decrease, nor oil press drop. Did some gremlin get in my hangar? I've never had any prop problems in all my flying time. Is this how the governor gives up the ghost?

    Update: Prop shop found no "smoking gun" with the governor, cleaned and returned. Installed and ran again, no help. Well now the prop is on its way to the shop for a look see.
