Mixture control 177B or any 177

Can anyone post a photo of the mixture control attach bracket and routing in a Cessna 177B or any 177. Helping a friend with his mixture cable and I want to make sure it attached properly. IPC is no help. Posting a photo from another forum. Looking for a better photo of the attach bracket. Thank you

I see there are no member replies to this topic, so let me offer this...

The best person to confirm the control cable is routed properly is the A&P/IA who will perform the work (or supervise the work being performed) and who is required to fill out the necessary paperwork, sign the logbook, and return the aircraft to service.

    Regards,

  • jcar,

I had a similar question regarding the correct placement of the throttle cable support bracket on my 172. (it turned out that the bracket had been installed incorrectly)

I contacted Cessna technical support at:

    Piston_Support@txtav.com

and got the information I needed including a detailed engineering drawing showing the bracket installation. They should be able to provide the information that you need.

    Tom
