avgas grades

My 05' turbo cessna 182 is placarded for 100LL/100 avgas. Am I correct in the ability to run 100 unleaded? And if so, mixing the grades is permissible in any combination? From what I have read the only change from 100LL to 100 unleaded is the price increase and gal weight of approx. 6.25 # instead of 6# for W/B planning. Just trying to clear up any confusion.

Given the information that's available today, you are correct. 100UL, if it's ever available, is currently STC'd in all engines.

  • Has anyone found where you can obtain new fuel placards at a reasonable price?

    Thanks
