340A Fuel transfer pump

I am having problems with the right fuel transfer pump from the tip tanks, seems to be running slow. A&P saying it needs rebuilt, but might take awhile. Is there a place to have this done or is it cost effective to maybe have it exchanged with a O/H one or just to buy new.
