Update Center Console

I have a 182F with a new glass cockpit and I’m looking for the best way to update the console to make it match the new charcoal gray panel.

Does anyone have any suggestions on repainting it or experience with one of those plastic covers? I’m considering one from Shelkirk.

    If you pull a panel most auto paint supply stores can match it and put it in a spray can for you. I like to use SEM products for plastics.

    I'm a little surprised it wasn't done at the panel redo. But goodwrench spot on with the SEM products. Any good plastic paint works well I also have used gloss or a dull or satin coat clear coating based on panel color. Really adds longevity to it. Get one and paint it and install it. Of course with new placards.
