Equipment List in Excel Format for 1981 C182R
I am getting a completely new panel in my recently purchased 182R and in talking to the avionics shop owner, I asked about a re-weighing the aircraft once all the work is done. He said "yes" and then said that I should expect the plane to weigh more than expected. He said that over the ~45 years, the numerous additions and subtractions and their rounding errors add up.
I was curious about what a paper calculation would show, and started with the equipment list in the POH. (My plane had mostly original instruments). I digitized the POH equipment list, and did some limited proof reading and formating. I thought this might be useful to other 182R owners, so the excel spreadsheet is attached. If you want to digitize your POH equipment list, I can offer tips on what works -- it really is not too much work.
Keep in mind that there could still be some conversion errors in this -- always check with the POH to confirm, especially if the WT LBS and ARM INS do not make sense.

Hi Tim,
I did something similar for my 172M. I was fortunate to have the original equipment list from the factory plus all the updates and 337's.
I used formulas in alot of the cells, so any future updates and W&B calculations will be easier.
I originally got this idea from Mike Busch's book, "Airplane Ownership Volume 1"
